I've had this on my computer for a fortnight apparently. I hadn't realized it had been that long. Last week just zoomed past...I wonder what happened....
I hadn't drawn anything in a while, and this sort of started at random, just wanting to do at least a face, and then it turned into him. Indeed, looks like Konohamaru's the only thing I've been drawing lately. Worlds better than the nothing that's been the norm for me lately.
Anyway, the first was that face on the left, and with the neck and shoulders, I started to draw that tank top and decided to continue with what I had been imagining him to sleep in, on those nights when he's actually sleeping in something other than his birthday suit, but that's another conversation for another day ^_^ It looks rather bland because I completely didn't think to add any of the designs I imagined on his PJs, and frankly didn't feel like re-scanning, cleaning, and re-sizing.
Some good news here is that must have been one of the very few times that his hair didn't make me want to do....evil things.... Only had to redo about once.
That thing crawling around on his head is a monkey, I really need to practice rendering them better. Then again at that size, it wouldn't be easy anyway.
On a final note, at the right angle, without his forehead protector on, Konohamaru looks like Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia, apparently.
